Project Engineer

Job Description: Perform Civil Engineering evaluation and analysis, design of pavement structures, development of transportation management systems, pavement performance modeling and prediction, life cycle cost analysis, and optimization. Perform evaluation and analysis, such as: Pavement Condition Index (PCI) surveys, road geometric assessment, Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) data back calculation. Perform pavement design to achieve the roadway projected design life for new pavements, rehabilitation, and full depth reconstruction projects. Develop transportation management systems including decision trees design, effectiveness of treatments, quantification, condition and benefits forecast, system preservation reports development, project selection. Conduct pavement performance modeling and prediction by developing pavement deterioration equations and generating transition probability matrices. Perform life cycle cost analysis and optimization using incremental benefit analysis to determine optimum maintenance and rehabilitation strategies, allocate budgets, and optimize use of funds.

Education: Masters Degree in Engineering
Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hrs/week)
Salary: $31.95/hr
